Little Big Town hit the stage Sunday night at the 60th annual Grammy Awards to perform their Hot Country Songs No. 1 hit “Better Man” from their eighth studio album, and they even took home the best country duo/group performance award for the song.
“They’re all sweet,” Karen Fairchild said on the group’s third Grammy win, after winning in the same category in 2012 for “Pontoon” and 2015 for “Girl Crush.” “They are hard to come by.”
This year is the 20th anniversary of the band being together, but for them it feels just as fresh and new as ever. “It still feels very, very fresh to us, because we’ve had so much history together,” Kimberly Schlapman said. “We’re a family. I mean, we’ve been through so much together that, yes in that way, it feels like 20 years, but with the music it feels just fresh and new and ready for another 20 [years].”
