Lil Pump stopped to chat with Billboard’s Keith Caulfield on the red carpet at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (May 20), discussing his new song “Welcome To The Party” and his beef with J. Cole.
Speaking of his latest track “Welcome To The Party,” which appears on the Deadpool 2 soundtrack, Lil Pump reveals that he has yet to meet the film’s star Ryan Reynolds. He also talks about how the collaboration with Diplo and French Montana came to be, explaining, “Diplo sent me a beat…I was at the crib chilling. I just hopped on that shit hard.”
Asked what the highlight of his year has been so far, Lil Pump says, “I don’t know. I just be having fun. I don’t pay attention, I just be doing shit.”
The rapper also addresses his ongoing beef with J. Cole. “I don’t know what’s been going on,” he says. “I don’t know, man. Y’all gotta ask J. Cole what’s going on…We going through some shit. I don’t know. Nah, we good, we on good terms.”
