Lady Gaga was a winner at the 2019 Grammy Awards before she even walked in the building, and the pop star certainly dressed like one on Sunday night (Feb. 10).
If “black tie disco ball” was a vibe, Gaga’s Grammys ensemble embraced it completely: she opted for a strapless, silver sequined gown with ’80s flair thanks a dramatic ruffle and thigh-high slit.
She kept her hair and makeup simple and her neck iced with Tiffany diamonds. If anyone doubted that tonight was Gaga’s time to shine, her dress was an eye-catching reminder.
Gaga has won three Grammy awards (so far): two for “Shallow,” her A Star Is Born collaboration with Mark Ronson, for best song written for visual media and best pop duo/group performance, and a best pop solo performance statuette for “Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?)” off her 2016 album, Joanne.
She has a chance to add to her growing Grammy collection, as “Shallow” is also up for song of the year and record of the year.
