Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban brought their party-ready new single “The Fighter” to the Grammys stage — “the most dynamic duo since Danny and Sandy,” according to John Travolta, who introduced them. The poppy, busbee-penned track had the pair getting a little groovy, backed by a nightclub-ready light show. Carrie was even showing off some dance moves, along with (naturally) a little of her signature belting.
It looks like this might be Urban’s next single off 2016’s Ripcord — the video for the track just dropped this morning (very strategically). Both Underwood and Urban are also nominated at this year’s Grammys in the best country solo performance category, though Urban already missed out in the best country song category (Tim McGraw’s “Humble and Kind” took the prize).
