Jack Harlow kicked off his performance at the 2020 MTV Europe Music Awards with an a capella verse from his latest single, “Tyler Herro,” before starting the party with “Whats Poppin.”
“The ones that hate me the most look just like me/ You tell me what that means,” he rapped at the camera at the start of his appearance. “Make a slick comment and see what that brings/ I seen it go down, we can reenact things.”
The scene then shifted to Harlow’s “What’s Poppin” set, where dancers wearing masks joined him from a distance.
“Shout out to one of my favorite continents,” he said as the song ended. “Europe, I love you. Especially you, Belgium, and Denmark.”
Harlow was nominated in two award categories at this year’s ceremony: best new and best push artist.
Watch his performance below, and catch the full show Sunday night (Nov. 8) on MTV. In the U.S., the EMAs will air at 7 p.m. ET.
