Billie Eilish and Finneas weren’t the only siblings on hand to perform at the 63rd Grammy Awards on Sunday (March 14).
Taking to the (socially-distanced) stage, the sisters of Haim brought the rock with a rollicking performance of their Women in Music Pt. III single “The Steps.”
The trio took to a stripped-bare stage, with Danielle Haim leading on drums and vocals, decked out in a black jumpsuit. Este and Alana, meanwhile, danced around Danielle’s set while jamming on the bass and guitar, respectively.
As they rocked out to the song, fans also got to watch Eilish, Finneas, and Harry Styles on the wings throughout the performance, mouthing along and straight up dancing when given the chance. “Every time I think that I’ve been takin’ the steps/ You end up mad at me for makin’ a mess,” the trio sang. “I can’t understand/ Why you don’t understand me, baby.”
The Haim sisters weren’t only at the ceremony to perform. The group was nominated for two awards — album of the year for Women in Music Pt. III and best rock performance for “The Steps.” They had only been nominated once before, in 2015, for best new artist.
