Contrary to Instagram belief, there’s a lot more to Hailee Steinfeld’s typical workday than milkshakes in Sweden and hanging out with Taylor Swift’s squad.
When the “Love Myself” singer attended Billboard’s Women in Music event, she cleared this up.
“There’s a perception that people have of what we do,” Steinfeld said. “And most times it’s not that far off, but sometimes there’s just a lot that they don’t see, and that is the daily struggles and obstacles and crossroads that you have to face.”

It is truly Steinfeld’s work ethic that has skyrocketed her career as an artist; however, she did emphasize the importance of balance. “You have to take care of yourself,” Steinfeld said. “You’re able to then deliver.”
