Dua Lipa is set to perform her song “Homesick” at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday as the Xfinity Encore Performer.
Exclusively for Comcast Xfinity X1 customers, Dua Lipa’s encore performance will be available on the cable network immediately after the show airs on NBC. Additional videos from the BBMAs will also be available on Xfinity. Dua Lipa is also set to perform a yet-unannounced song during the live telecast on NBC.
This year’s partnership warrants “an even more immersive viewing experience prior to and following the show,” according to a release from dick clark productions and NBC. Xfinity customers will be treated to archival BBMAs content on the network following the three-hour broadcast, as well as video content on YouTube and streaming stations from Pandora. Customers with the X1 Voice Remote can access all exclusive BBMAs content by saying “Show me the BBMAs.”
The “New Rules” artist is on fire, as she just wrapped up a tour in Asia and dropped another climbing single, “One Kiss” with Calvin Harris.
Camila Cabello, who is up for a number of awards, including the Billboard chart achievement award and top female artist, gave the Xfinity Encore performance at last year’s BBMAs, when Xfinity On Demand first partnered with the show.
The Billboard Music Awards will broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on NBC.
