The Grammys just can’t get enough Dolly Parton.
During the main Grammys telecast on Sunday (Feb. 10), Parton herself joined Katy Perry, Kacey Musgraves, Miley Cyrus, Maren Morris and Little Big Town for a medley of some of her most iconic tunes.
Musgraves and Perry, in matching red outfits, kicked off the medley with “Here You Come Again” (which they also performed at MusiCares — more on that below) before Parton joined them and brought out goddaughter Miley Cyrus for “Jolene.” Maren Morris then joined in for a cover of Neil Young’s “After The Gold Rush” (which Parton has covered multiple times in her career) before Little Big Town took the stage with Parton for “Red Shoes,” from the Netflix movie Dumplin’. The tribute ended with a group rendition of “9 to 5.”
On Friday (Feb. 8), the country superstar and eight-time Grammy winner also received the titular honor at the annual MusiCares Person of the Year gala, where Perry, Musgraves, Cyrus, Lauren Daigle, Yolanda Adams, Mavis Staples, Leon Bridges and plenty more paid tribute by covering her biggest hits.
