
At the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, R&B superstar Brandy took to the stage to deliver a stunning medley of song’s from her latest album, B7. And to get the job done, she enlisted Ty Dolla $ign for some help.
Staggering out onto the stage in a lacey white outfit, reminiscent of a straightjacket to fit her song’s theme, Brandy opened with “Borderline,” where the star danced and writhed around the stage, letting her lover know that “I’m on the borderline/ Don’t wanna be schizo this time/ Never ever cheat, never lie to me.”
Immediately after, Brandy brought out Ty, dressed in a brown trench and sunglasses, for a stripped-down version of their brand new single “No Tomorrow, Pt. 2.” The two swapped verses back and forth, before Brandy thanked him and stepped to the front of the stage.Grabbing her mic stand and finished out the set with her throwback to 1998 hit “Almost Doesn’t Count,” showing off her vocal prowess and silky-soft delivery.
Brandy and Ty were just two of the performer’s at Wednesday night’s Billboard Music Awards. Hosted by pop icon Kelly Clarkson, the event boasted massive talent, including performances from stars like BTS, Demi Lovato, Post Malone and many more.
