
The 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards finalists have been revealed today (Feb. 5) by Billboard and Telemundo, with Bad Bunny and Ozuna leading the pack at 14 mentions each. They are followed by Daddy Yankee (12), J Balvin (12), Anuel AA (11), and Farruko (10), further proving that Latin urban music is at the top of the game.
Honoring the best in Latin music, the awards will feature 59 different categories in the main musical genres including Latin Pop, Tropical, Latin Rhythm, and Regional Mexican.
Amongst the categories lies social artist of the year, spotlighting four of the most active music stars on social media. The 2020 finalists are Puerto Rican trap artist Anuel AA, Mexican-American songstress Becky G, reggaeton superstar Daddy Yankee and Argentine sensation Lali.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards 2020 will broadcast live on Thursday, April 23 via Telemundo.
The awards show is the culmination of LatinFest+, produced by Billboard and Telemundo, which is a three-day immersive experience dedicated to Latin music, culture and entertainment taking place April 20-23 at The Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada.
