The 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards finalists have officially been announced, and leading this year’s list are Bad Bunny and Ozuna with 14 nods each, followed by J Balvin and Daddy Yankee with 12 and trap singer Anuel AA with 11.
But there’s also the artist of the year, new category which, this year, is led by four young urban singers — Jhay Cortez, Sech, Manuel Turizo and Paulo Londra — who are all up to take home the once-in-a-lifetime trophy.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards will close out LatinFest+, presented by Billboard and Telemundo, a three-day immersive experience dedicated to Latin music, culture and entertainment. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, LatinFest+ (formerly known as Billboard Latin Music Week) will include superstar conversations, workshops, live concerts and fan experiences and will feature artists such as J Balvin, Rosalía, Los Tigres del Norte and Ozuna, among many others.
