And the list just keeps growing. On Tuesday morning (Nov. 14), Shawn Mendes, Lady Gaga and Nick Jonas were added as performers at the upcoming American Music Awards on Nov. 19 — airing at 8 p.m. Eastern on ABC.
ABC and dick clark productions made the official announcement via press release this morning, but Mendes and Jonas also took to their Twitter to confirm and express their excitement.
“One of my favorite shows to perform on,” Jonas — who has performed on the awards both as a solo artist and as one-third of the Jonas Brothers — tweeted. “So happy to be back this year. See you Sunday, @AMAs.”
Mendes simply tweeted, “Performing at the @AMAs this Sunday! X”

Gaga first graced the AMA stage in 2009 with a medley performance of “Bad Romance” and “Speechless.” She performed during the awards show last year, too, with “Million Reasons,” which is off of her current album Joanne — her fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.
Gaga is a nine-time AMA nominee and is nominated for Favorite Female Artist — Pop/Rock this year, the only AMA she has won (in 2010). Mendes is nominated for Favorite Artist – Adult Contemporary, and Jonas is not nominated for an award this year — he has not released an album since 2016’s Last Year Was Complicated but has recently released single “Find You” (Sept. 14).
Jonas was last seen performing at the AMAs in 2015 when he brought “Chains,” “Levels” and “Jealous” to the stage, while Mendes performed “Treat You Better” and “Mercy” last year.
