Adele may be adding psychic to her repertoire, as she seems to have predicted that she’d restart her Grammy performance.
For those who may not remember, last year at the 2016 Grammys, Adele dealt with sounds issues as the piano mics had fallen into the piano during her performance of “All I Ask.” Naturally upset following the performance, Adele discussed the incident with Ellen the next week on The Ellen Show, opening it with a flawless redo.
Talking to the Ellen about the mishap, Adele said, “Next time I have any sound issues I am gonna stop. ‘Sorry, that’s not working for me. If we have time to do it again, let’s do it.”
Fast-forward a year later to tonight’s (Feb. 12) Grammy performance and she did just that.
She then continued, saying she needed to do right by the passed singer stating, “I cant mess this up for him.”
Ellen took to Twitter to offer support following the do-over tonight writing, “Adele, you get every do over you ever need. Ever.”
