Introduced by Billy Porter, who introduced them to the audience of “ladies, gentlemen and those who have yet to make up their minds,” the brothers appeared in gold-accented outfits, standing in a circle on a rotating platform, with Kevin strumming the acoustic guitar.
They opened with a brand new song, titled “Five More Minutes,” a harmonious love ballad where the trio begged their respective wives to “give me five more minutes with you.” At one point, Kevin even leaned down to give his wife Danielle a kiss.
As soon as they reached the main stage, the brothers launched into a rousing rendition of their latest single “What a Man Gotta Do.” The stage transformed into a Vegas-style bandshell, and the three were joined on stage by a barrage of dancers, who payed tribute to their nostalgic video for the song by performing the Hand Jive from Grease.
The trio were nominated for best pop duo/group performance with “Sucker,” but they lost out to Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’s “Old Town Road” before the official ceremony started. ?
