The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has selected 15 original songs that will go on to compete for the Academy Award.
Ninety songs were submitted for the honor, and members of the Academy’s music branch chose tunes from a number of genres, including A Star Is Born‘s “Shallow,” Black Panther‘s “All the Stars,” Ralph Breaks the Internet‘s “A Place Called Slaughter Race” and more.
In addition, 15 scores will process to the Academy Awards out of the 156 films submitted, including compositions from Mary Poppins Returns and Avengers: Infinity War.
