The Oscars will air live on Sunday (Feb. 24), but until the coveted best original song Academy Award is revealed, what song do you think should win?
It’s safe to say that this year’s five nominations are very different from each other, with all the songs offering a unique sound and feel that perfectly compliment the films they were born from.
With A Star is Born’s power ballad “Shallow” (Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper), RBG’s uplifting “I’ll Fight” (Jennifer Hudson), The Ballad Of Buster Scruggs classically-country “When a Cowboy Trades His Spurs For Wings” (Willie Watson and Tim Blake Nelson), Mary Poppins Returns’ “The Place Where Lost Things Go” (Emily Blunt) and Black Panther’s “All the Stars” (Kendrick Lamar and SZA) — it will undoubtedly be a serious challenge to pick between the multi-genred tracks.
