The 2018 Tony Awards are on the way, and Katharine McPhee and Leslie Odom Jr. are teaming up on Tuesday (May 1) to finally reveal this year’s nominees.
McPhee, who recently made her Broadway debut in Waitress, and Odom, a Tony winner for his role as the original Aaron Burr in Hamilton, will host a live stream on the awards show’s Facebook page to announce the nominations. (Fans of TV musicals will also note that McPhee and Odom were both on NBC’s Smash as well!) The webcast begins at 8:30 a.m. ET, with CBS This Morning airing a portion of the stream live.
For fans without a Facebook page, fear not: The entire event will also be available on the Tony Awards website.
The 72nd annual Tony Awards, hosted by Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban, will take place on Sunday, June 10 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The show will air live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
