This past week Billboard celebrated music of the 90’s. We made a case for each year, as to why it was the best musical year of the decade.
We close the week by breaking down 90’s R&B and rap for the 23rd episode of The Juice Podcast. Billboard’s Steven Horowitz and ItsTheReal‘s Eric Rosenthal join me to discuss the years they made a case for: 1994 and 1995. (Personally, I think 1994 was the best year of the 90’s for R&B and rap.)
We also highlight major 90’s R&B and rap releases such as Notorious B.I.G.‘s Ready to Die, Lauryn Hill‘s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Ginuwine‘s 100% Ginuwine and Boyz II Men‘s II.
