Summer is officially here, which means that it’s time to start wondering which tune will dominate beaches, BBQs and backyards for the next three months. So on this week’s episode of the Must-Hear Music podcast, we turn our attention to the current crop of songs heating up the Summer Songs chart.
2016 Songs of the Summer Chart
Last summer we found ourselves a cheerleader and but couldn’t feel our faces, so what’s in store for 2016? In the lead right now we have Drake‘s “One Dance” with Wizkid and Kyla,” Desiigner‘s “Panda” and Justin Timberlake‘s “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” but it’s far too soon to declare any of the early favorites a winner.
If history has taught us anything, it’s that the Song of the Summer is probably already out — but it may still be building steam. Aside from that dude-heavy trio of summery hits, Fifth Harmony are in the running with “Work From Home” and Daya lends her voice to Chainsmokers’ latest hit “Don’t Let Me Down.”
