Summer is closing in on us, and you can already hear the song-of-the-summer hopefuls hitting the airwaves. So on this week’s Must-Hear Music podcast, we talk about several new tracks with breezy vibes befitting the beach or a barbeque.
First, there’s DJ Khaled ft. The World with “I’m the One.” More specifically, that’s Justin Bieber crooning the hook with Chance the Rapper, Quavo and Lil Wayne dropping verses. In other Migos news, the full trio joined Katy Perry on her entendre-laden “Bon Appetit” single, which the podcast crew (Joe Lynch, Jason Lipshutz, Lyndsey Havens) has mixed feelings on.
We also check out Hailee Steinfeld’s empowering trop-pop foray “Most Girls,” Feist‘s stark “Pleasure,” Foster the People‘s “SHC” and Haim‘s “Right Now,” the first taste of their upcoming album that we’ve been eagerly awaiting.
