Before tackling the year-end Must-Hear Music podcast, we have one more episode to talk about recently released duets, album tracks and remixes that are worth your attention.
First up is Ed Sheeran and Beyonce’s “Perfect Duet.” It may not live up to the title, but it’s certainly aiming for an impressive Billboard Hot 100 position. A more successful collab is Lil Uzi Vert’s “The Way Life Goes (Remix)” featuring Nicki Minaj, which boasts a pita pun that leaves us hotly contested.
In a realm entirely separate from, well, literally any other musician, Bjork has a new album, Utopia, and we hone in on “Losss,” a prime example of producer Arca’s sonically dissonant work.
We also talk about K. Michelle’s excellent and vital “Kim K,” which is sure to get tongues wagging and feet moving in equal proportion. Plus: PRETTYMUCH’s “No More” featuring French Montana and First Aid Kit’s “Fireworks.”
