
The morning after making their American television premiere on The Late Show, fraternal U.K. duo Drenge stopped by Billboard’s New York office to chat with Chris Payne for a new episode of The Alt In Our Stars.
The brothers Loveless (guitarist-vocalist Eoin and drummer Rory) gave a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to guest on Letterman and then jumped into some details on their sophomore album, Undertow, which comes out in April 6 via Infectious Records.

For a band with song titles like “I Want to Break You in Half” and “People in Love Make Me Feel Yuck,” the Drenge brothers are surprisingly friendly and well-adjusted. And they even hinted that Undertow is a happier record than its predecessor. All angst aside, 2013’s self-titled debut won them the 2014 NME award for best new band, so they’re certainly off to a good start.
