Over the past few years, Lizzo and Harry Styles have become the besties we never knew we needed.
The two advocates for self-love and acceptance have been paying tribute to each other with covers of their songs, and surprise performances together, and fans on Twitter have affectionately given the unlikely duo the nickname Hizzo.
See below for all the times #Hizzo were the most adorable BFFs you ever did see.

Harry's "Juice" Cover
Our first glimpse of Hizzo all started when Styles visited the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, where he covered Lizzo’s smash hit, “Juice.” “She’s exactly what you want an artist to be… which is yourself,” he explained of the “Truth Hurts” songstress during the interview.
Style’s big smile while he sang the bridge (“Somebody come get your man/I think he got lost in my DMs”) soon spread on Twitter like wildfire, and the cover caught Lizzo’s attention. “You know what this means right….?” she tweeted with a wink face, implying that she’d be down to collaborate on a remix of the tune.

"Juice" Performance
Two months after the BBC cover, Styles flew down to Miami during Super Bowl weekend to hop onstage with Lizzo during her performance at the SiriusXM and Pandora Super Bowl Opening Drive Super Concert Series in Miami. The duo, of course, performed “Juice” together.

Lizzo's "Adore You" Cover
It was time for Lizzo to return the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge favor. The singer appeared on the show and covered Styles’ “Adore You” off his recent album Fine Line. “My favorite British import would be Harry Styles,” she joked during the fan Q&A portion of the interview. “I’ve been listening to the entire album, Fine Line is my jam. I listen to it in the morning, on the plane, so I already sing the songs, and now I get to do it with a live band my way.”
Lizzo added a fun little twist to her performance, gushing over the One Direction crooner by switching out the “Oh, honey” before the chorus to “Oh, Harry.”

Lizzo Reveals She'd Choose Harry to Take Care of Her Over Cardi B
One of the very first questions during an Elle UK AMA was, “Who would you trust more to look after you on a night out — Cardi B or Harry Styles?” and the Lizzo didn’t hesitate to choose between her “Rumors” collaborator and the former One Direction-er.
“So the funny part is, is when y’all were asking me, I thought about Harry,” she confessed. “I’m gonna say Mr. Harry Styles, only because that’s actually happened. And Harry stays really calm under pressure. And he turn up real chill-like, you know what I’m saying? So I think he would be able to keep me together while everything’s falling apart.”
Lizzo also revealed what Styles smells like. “Harry smells very good; he smell like soap!” she said emphatically. “Whatever soap he uses, it smells like that. Like, it’s not a cologne or a deodorant thing, it’s very, like, whatever soap he showers in. … Every time I see him, I’ll be like, [inhales] “‘You smell like soap!’ ‘Cause he really do, he smell fresh and clean.”

Hanging Out in Chicago
The BFFs’ tours both brought them to Chicago in October 2022, which was the perfect opportunity to reconnect.

2023 Grammys
The “As It Was” singer was captured on camera beaming and excitedly clapping for Lizzo when her name was called for record of the year, which she won for her Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “About Damn Time.” The feat made Lizzo the first Black woman since Whitney Houston in 1994 to win the award, something she later pointed out and celebrated on Instagram.
And when Styles was announced the winner of album of the year for Harry’s House, the “Truth Hurts” musician/flute player extraordinaire could be seen holding up her own phone to record her pal as he made his way to the stage, stopping on his way up to give her a huge hug.
