Twelve-year-old ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer was named the winner of America’s Got Talent‘s 12th season on Wednesday night (Sept. 20), edging out 10-year-old singer Angelica Hale, who came in second place.
In her audition, with her stuffed bunny Petunia, it was explained that Farmer uses ventriloquism to overcome her shyness.
Asked why she wanted to join the show, Farmer told judge Simon Cowell, “It was one of my big dreams, but also I would really like to keep ventriloquism alive because it’s not common.”
Technically, she also competed as a singer since it is her voice behind her puppets.
Here are all of Lynne’s performances on the AGT stage since auditioning on May 30, which earned her a Golden Buzzer from judge Mel B.
