The forthcoming Sia-penned soundtrack for the drama film Vox Lux — which follows the music career of a struggling pop artist (Natalie Portman) years after her rise to stardom is born out of a national tragedy — has been given a Dec. 14 release date.
Sia additionally acted as one of the movie’s executive producers, allowing her music to influence the film’s dynamics. Scott Walker helped out by building a score that accompanies the heroine’s compelling journey.
In addition to Portman, Vox Lux stars Jude Law, Stacy Martin, Jennifer Ehle and Raffey Cassidy and is slated to hit theaters Dec. 7.
