NBC’s hit singing competition show The Voice has announced four new advisors who will help seek out the stars of tomorrow.
Joining Jennifer Hudson’s team will be pop star Halsey, while Kelly Clarkson will be harking back to her country roots with her new advisor Thomas Rhett. CeeLo Green, who was one of the show’s original coaches for the first four seasons, will be returning as the battle advisor on Team Adam and Keith Urban will be helping out fellow country star Blake Shelton.
Rhett, an accomplished songwriter and first-time advisor, posted a photo with Clarkson on his Instagram with the hashtag #TeamKelly. Green was also thrilled to be invited back, tweeting that “NBC SHOULD NOW STAND FOR WE ‘N eed B ack C eelo.’”
The news was announced on Monday (Aug. 6) via four separate outlets: Extra TV, E! News, People and Taste of Country, respectively.
Season fifteen of The Voice will premiere on Sept. 24, with Hudson, Clarkson, Levine and Shelton beginning the blind auditions.
