Steve Harvey went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday (April 17) to tease an upcoming episode of Family Feud, featuring none other than the Kardashian-Jenner and West families. Originally, the Kardashians were meant to go up against the Hilton family, but that all changed when the Hiltons backed out.
“They were supposed to play against the Paris Hilton family, the Hiltons against the Kardashians. The Hiltons canceled, so Kanye [West], who’s a big fan of Family Feud said, ‘I want to play,’” Harvey told host Ellen DeGeneres. “So, he brought his family — people you don’t know, these cousins. They were just the best because they were just, like, hood.”
Surprisingly, it was the “Famous” rapper who emerged as the star player. “Kanye was the best Family Feud celebrity panelist we’ve ever had on the show. He loves the show,” Harvey said. “His people said, ‘Steve, this is the most Kanye has ever smiled since we’ve been working for him.’ Kanye smiled! When I introduced him, he smiled. Tune in and you’ll see Kanye smiling.”
West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, didn’t fare as well, though. “Kim didn’t know nothing,” Harvey shrugged, noting Kim and her sister Khloe Kardashian, who played against each other, were extremely competitive.
The Family Feud episode was filmed last month, and is expected to air in May. You can view the Ellen clip below.
