On Wednesday (Nov. 20), NBC announced the hosts and musical guests for Saturday Night Live‘s trio of final episodes of 2019.
Jennifer Lopez will return for her third outing as host for the long-running sketch show’s Dec. 7 episode, with rising hip-hop star DaBaby making his debut as musical guest. The following week (Dec. 14), Scarlett Johansson will host for a sixth time — surpassing her status in SNL‘s storied Five-Timers Club — alongside Niall Horan as musical guest. “Dreams do come true,” the former One Direction-er tweeted once the announcement was made.
For the midseason finale on Dec. 21, former SNL cast member Eddie Murphy is set to make his triumphant return to Studio 8H as host for the first time since 1984. Joining the comedian as musical guest will be Lizzo, making her SNL debut in the wake of receiving eight Grammy nominations.
