Multiple Grammy award-winning artist Seal took a backseat to the fast life when former late-night television host Jay Leno drove them around for the latest episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series, which is available today (Feb. 21) exclusively on AppleTV.
The two hit the high notes together in Jackson Browne‘s 1978 hit “Stay” and bellowed the low notes too, even though the preview clip teases, “One has the voice. And…well, only one has the voice.” But don’t doubt Leno’s hip-hop expertise in this episode, as he uses his street knowledge to school viewers.
“What is Ghostface Killah‘s real name?” Seal asks him as part of the genre-specific challenge.
“I knew Dennis [Coles] back in Staten Island,” Leno responded immediately. “Hip-hop and rap is my life, I come from the streets.”
