Following its midseason hiatus, Saturday Night Live will be back on TV with a pair of new shows this February.
Gary Clark Jr. will make his musical debut on the late-night comedy show’s Feb. 16, episode alongside host Don Cheadle. The Grammy winner’s new album, The Land, is set to be released Feb. 22 on Warner Bros. Records. And as previously reported, Hasley will make her SNL debut the week before, on Feb. 9, pulling double-duty as both host and musical guest.
Clark made headlines last month with the release of his politically charged song “This Land,” which documents America’s history of mistreating black people, up through our modern era. He kicks off a U.S. tour on March 9 in Miami.
Halsey, meanwhile, earned her first solo No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with her latest single “Without Me,” hitting the top of the chart the week of Jan. 12. The song was briefly dethroned by Post Malone and Swae Lee’s “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse)” before returning to No. 1 this week (chart dated Jan. 26).
The mid-tempo pop confection, which was inspired by the singer’s break-up with G-Eazy, is also currently sitting in the top spot of the Pop Songs chart this week.
