Paris Jackson raved about her star-struck moment with Alice Cooper on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon Monday night (March 20).
The meet-up nearly shook Jackson to her core, which was evident as she gushed about sitting next to Cooper at a Halloween concert backstage this past year. The inspiring event left the daughter of late pop icon Michael Jackson ‘close to tears’ and the special encounter still brought up emotion while talking about it to Fallon.
“I was telling him, ‘I love you so much, I’ve always listened to you, I grew up loving you’ and I was close to tears,” Jackson passionately recapping the details. “I’m crying thinking about it — he’s amazing. So, I like really weirded him out, but he was really nice about it.”
Besides the iconic rocker, who Jackson dubbed a “total bae,” she also recounted her many “firsts” in the music world. The first records she ever listened to were the classic Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (on vinyl) and The Lion King Soundtrack (on CD). Of course, the first concert she attended was of her father, Michael Jackson’s, Invincible tour. In contrast, the popular High School Musical Live concert was another first.
Before an intense game of “Egg Russian Roulette” which Jackson claimed victory over, she delves a little into her work and personal life, describing music writing as a hobby and modeling and acting as a growing career for the 18-year-old.
