Kim Kardashian West had a lot to talk about on The Tonight Show on Thursday night (Feb. 7), including her initial fears about welcoming a fourth child into her already very crowded home with husband Kanye West.
“I was kind of stressing,” Kardashian West, 38, said about the baby boy the couple are expecting via surrogate. “My house is so full, but I heard that parents of four are the most enlightened and calm of all parents.” The anxiety was amped up even more after Kim admitted that going from one child to two felt more like jumping from “one to 20.”
Luckily for her, some calm has finall entered the growing West household, as Kim revealed that five year-old daughter North and three year-old son Saint “are finally getting along. It’s like the best moment as a mom.” When Fallon pulled out the recent adorable snap of North taking a nap on ‘Ye’s shoulders, Kim once again outed her hubby as a guy who can fall asleep anywhere, including during a doctor’s appointment to get a sonogram, where she caught him snoring, or during one of his meetings in France, where he snoozed at the table. “She definitely is him.”
Kardashian West also spoke about her great pride in helping convicted non-violent drug offender Alice Johnson have her life sentence commuted by Pres. Trump, who invited Johnson to this week’s State of the Union address. “To me, seeing her at the State of the Union was such a message of hope, because there’s so many people like her that really deserve that,” said Kardashian West, who added that Johnson was texting pictures to her all night.
Kardashian West said she plans to continue working on criminal justice reform, with an emphasis on encouraging businesses to hire the formerly incarcerated: “I would love to hire formerly incarcerated people and I would love to spread that message that other companies and big companies can do that, too.” Things got really real, though, when Fallon showed Kim a picture of little sis Kylie Jenner with what appeared to be a giant engagement ring on finger, a shot Kardashian West said she had not seen before.
“I mean, I think she would have told me,” she said of the snap, that appeared to suggest Kylie and rapper Travis Scott might be headed down the aisle soon. “She’s pretty secretive, but I’m sure she would have told me. I’m not really sure. But I don’t think so.” She also explained another recent photo that got people buzzing: a shot of Kanye at dinner with Pete Davidson, Timothée Chalamet and Kid Cudi. “It was Kid Cudi’s birthday and we went to Nobu and when I got there I realized it was like a guy’s dinner,” she said. Without even tagging any of the dudes in the picture, Kim said she got a flood of DMs from her straight and gay friends asking about Pete and Timothée. “The vibe was so good and I didn’t want to ruin it, so I just sat in the corner and documented it for them.”
Kim also played a game of “Touching Mystery Objects” with Jimmy that freaked them out so much that no amount of Purell could ease their psychic pain.
