Kim Kardashian welcomed baby Chicago, her third child with Kanye West, in January. Ahead of Mother’s Day, the 37-year-old star appeared on LIVE With Kelly & Ryan on Friday (May 11) and revealed that she’d be open to having another child.
Host Kelly Ripa candidly posed the question about whether Kardashian would welcome more children into her family of five. “I would maybe try for one more,” Kardashian told Ripa and co-host Ryan Seacrest.
Kardashian’s third child was delivered via surrogate and she went on to say that she “really enjoyed the surrogacy process.” After revealing that she dealt with placenta accreta during her first two pregnancies, the mom decided surrogacy was the way to go. “I enjoyed carrying myself, but that wasn’t an option for me for my last child and moving forward,” she said in the interview.
Kardashian also found that once it came to breastfeeding Chicago, she was pleased that she went through with surrogacy — calling it a game-changer. “Having to not go through that every few hours — breastfeeding — I can spend so much more time with the older kids and getting them all used to the new baby.”
