Kane Brown tore up the Jimmy Kimmel stage with heartfelt renditions of “Lose It” and “Good as You” from his newly released sophomore album, Experiment, during a performance that aired after the CMA Awards on Wednesday (Nov. 14).
The 25-year-old country singer and his band opened with “Lose It,” as sultry yellow and red lights washed over them. “’Cause when you do that thing right there/ Flippin’ your hair, baby, I swear,” Brown sang, “Don’t think you know what you’re doing to me/ You got my heart skip-skipping a beat/ You’re not close enough so that space between/ You and me, let’s lose it.”
Ballad “Good as You” then saw Brown oozing romance: “See the way you’re taking care of your Mama/ The way you’re taking care of me/ The way you light up any room, girl/ You’re what this world should be.”
Brown also appeared at the Country Music Association Awards as a presenter on the evening his Kimmel performance aired.
