Jimmy Kimmel’s first monologue of 2018 focused squarely on Donald Trump’s rambling early Tuesday morning (Jan. 2) tweetstorm that included a terror-inducing whose-nuclear-button-is-bigger threat to North Korea’s dictator.
Kimmel noted that Trump had tweeted eight times before 10 a.m. on Tuesday and then read out Trump’s tweet that mocked the size and effectiveness of Kim Jong Un’s nuclear button.
North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the “Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.” Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!

The tweet has left people left shaking their head with concern and many wondering whether the president’s tweet violated Twitter’s term of service, however, Kimmel managed to find some humor in the news.
“Happy New Year, everybody! We have two maniacs with nuclear warheads bragging about who has the bigger button.”
