No, Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith aren’t swingers — but Jada jokingly wishes they were.
While promoting the new movie Girls Trip with co-star Queen Latifah on Thursday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Pinkett Smith fielded a question from a caller asking what the craziest rumor she’d ever heard about her family was. Pinkett Smith appears to think for a second, before saying: “That Will and I are swingers.”
“It’s constant,” the Wicked Wisdom singer and actress said. “And I’m like, ‘Yo, I wish!'”
In actuality, Pinkett Smith later explained, she and her husband have made their 23-year (closed) relationship last because of their “amazing chemistry on a lot of different levels.”
“We love to laugh together, we love to learn together,” she said. “And we just love each other! We just have a good time together.”
Unfortunately for Hollywood fodder, it appears the secret isn’t swinging after all — just a little old-fashioned thing called love.
