Bad Bunny is a massive wrestling fan, and the Latin music superstar is living out his childhood dream this weekend as he faces off against two-time WWE champion, Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, at Wrestlemania 37.
The match is set to air on Saturday (April 10) exclusively on Peacock, which offers a seven-day free trial for its premium feature. Sign up here.
Though this is his first Wrestlemania, the reggaeton singer is no stranger to WWE events. Back in January, he performed “Booker T” (named after the famous wrestler) at Royal Rumble, and then made waves when he jumped off the top rope onto The Miz and fellow Superstar John Morrison outside of the ring.
“Superstars work their entire life to get a Wrestlemania match,” Miz recently told Billboard, partially in character, of Bad Bunny’s fight. “This guy comes in a couple months ago and is now going against one of the most decorated superstars ever at Wrestlemania? I’m not just doing this for me. I’m doing this for every superstar who isn’t on the Wrestlemania card — the ones whose spot he took. He thinks he’s going to waltz in and embarrass me, but that’s not going to happen. You step into my ring, you are going to get hurt.”
