The live music songwriting series Front and Center will begin its eighth season tonight (Jan. 4) with a showcase performance by English rock star Liam Gallagher.
The former Oasis frontman released his debut solo album As You Were in Oct. last year, and his Front and Center set at the McKittrick Hotel in New York sheds more than a few insights on the new record. Along with a performance of several of his latest tracks, Gallagher also dusts off some Oasis hits, including 1995’s iconic “Wonderwall.”
Check out a sneak peek of Gallagher’s Front and Center episode, with album opener “Wall of Glass” and a behind-the-scenes feature, below.
The upcoming season will broadcast weekly through March 1 on WNET and features ten episodes that spotlight a range of high profile artists and rising talents. There will also be three performances in partnership with the Country Music Association by 13-time CMA Award winner Miranda Lambert and rising stars Luke Combs and Kane Brown. Listing information and video content can found on the show’s website here and Youtube channel here.
