Emma Stone is a veteran Saturday Night Live host at this point, but that didn’t stop her from flat-out stanning some more over this week’s musical guest, BTS. Stone told Jimmy Fallon about her ear-piercing reaction to the K-pop superstars on Thursday night’s (April 11) Tonight Show, admitting that despite hosting SNL for a fourth time this weekend, she felt like just another one of the hardcore ARMY soldiers who’ve been waiting in line outside 30 Rock all week when she spotted the guys during rehearsals.
The Maniac star said SNL is the one place she doesn’t get nervous because she loves hosting so much, but watching BTS? “I just saw their soundcheck today and I involuntarily screamed,” she told Fallon. “I’m actually not kidding. It came out of my body. It was like ‘AAAHHH!!!’ It was like a chemical reaction that happens. They’re incredible.”
Stone also ran down her newfound karaoke addiction (her go-to is Tal Bachman‘s “She’s So High,” btw), her upcoming role in the sequel to Zombieland, chatted about appearing in Paul McCartney‘s “Who Cares” video and perhaps the most important thing of all: her plans to attend the upcoming Spice Girls reunion show in London. A self-professed Spicehead, Stone has teamed with charity raffle organization Omaze to auction off a chance to go see the Girls in London with her and her pals in HAIM.
“It benefits all kinds of wonderful organizations… So please, please enter because you can see me in a semi-conscious zombie state and won’t that be fun?” she said.
