The marriage of Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo might’ve fallen victim to some horrific tragedy on Game of Thrones, but at least the actors behind the characters keep the love alive IRL. Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa — who portray Daenerys and Khal, respectively, in the HBO drama — reunited in royal fashion at a cast party over the weekend, resulting in some aww–worthy Instagram posts snapped in front of the famed Throne. The actor pair proclaimed their non-fiction love via social media Sunday (June 3).
“FYI…This is the closest you’ll ever get to me attempting ‘that lift’ from dirty dancing,” Clarke captioned her photo, in which she’s being held horizontally by Momoa. “Yes, my man is sitting. Yes, there’s no lake. And yes, I have no idea I’m NOT being raised above his head. (Id like to take a moment to thank alcohol for giving me courage to attempt this. Ever.)”
Momoa also shared a series of silly photos with Clarke, captioned, “Moon of my life @emilia_clarke every time I leave you my face hurts from smiling to much. I Fucking love you forever. Aloha j.”
Viewers will get the next look at Westeros’ happenings when the eighth and final season of GoT airs in 2019.
