MTV and Sean “Diddy” Combs revealed on Wednesday (Feb. 19) the cast of judges for the upcoming return of Making the Band.
Diddy is keeping it in his talented family, calling on his sons Christian Combs, Quincy Brown and Justin Combs, plus creative director and celeb choreographer LaurieAnn Gibson for the job.
The show, which sets out to find the world’s next musical superstars, will embark on a multi-city casting tour this month with open auditions in Atlanta, Houston, Charlotte and New York. Diddy and all the judges will make appearances throughout the tour.
The casting tour will head to Atlanta from Feb. 28 – 29, then to Houston, Texas from March 7 – 8, followed by Charlotte, North Carolina on March 13 – 14, before wrapping up in NYC on March 21 – 22.
Fans can also take part in Making the Band vocal booths that will be placed around each city ahead of the open casting auditions. The first vocal booth in Atlanta will offer hopefuls a music video-style performance to approved audition songs. All submissions can be shared across social platforms and used to submit auditions online.
