Former X Factor judge Cheryl returned to the show Sunday (Nov. 18) to perform her sassy new single “Love Made Me Do It.”
The performance opened with the 35-year-old pop singer dressed in all black, climbing across the ground amid pink lights. “I’ve took the fast lane all of my life/ I’ve been a bad girl, I’ve been the good wife/ I don’t stop to think, when I go in, I go in,” she sang, soon standing up, licking her hand tattoo and outlining her figure as two male backup dancers joined her.
“‘Cause I’m/ Breaking all my rules/ But love made me do it/ Shoulda used my head/ ‘Cause my heart really blew it/ Love made me do it,” Cheryl continued, swinging her hips as more dancers moved behind her onto the circular stage.
“Love Made Me Do It,” off her forthcoming still-unnamed album, sees Cheryl blaming love for her failed relationships, but fiercely choosing to go at it again.
