The New Celebrity Apprentice is coming down to the wire, with finalists Boy George and Matt Iseman left to compete for their favorite charities. For the finale, Billboard has learned Boy George will team up with Natasha Bedingfield for the show’s closing task, seeking to gain favor with Carnival Cruise Lines.
American Ninja Warrior host Matt Iseman is pulling in a favor from departed fan favorite Carnie Wilson, who will reportedly appear with her group Wilson Phillips for a performance of Billboard Hot 100-topper “Hold On.” George is amping up the nostalgia factor as well, as he and Bedingfield will belt out the iconic Culture Club hit “Karma Chameleon.”
The performance is part of a variety show, one element of a three-pronged task, which also involved creating an advertising campaign and hosting a party. The variety show is the final piece, which will pave the way to the crowning of this season’s winner.
The Feb. 13 finale, hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger, will also boast an appearance by Caitlyn Jenner, as the remaining two competitors head to the final judgment in the boardroom. Tyra Banks and Patrick Knapp Schwarzenegger serve as the Governor’s advisors.
Over the course of the series, The Celebrity Apprentice has raised more than $15 million for charity. This season’s winner will receive a $250,000 check to give to their designated charity.
The current season has so far raised $2.5 million for various causes. Iseman is playing for the Arthritis Foundation, while Boy George is competing for Safe Kids Worldwide.
The New Celebrity Apprentice airs from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday (Feb. 13) on NBC.
