Since making his major debut on Fox’s The Four, pop virtuoso Vincint has seen his star rapidly rise throughout the queer music scene. Now, he’s finally ready to reveal the project he’s been working on since getting his break.
On Tuesday (Jan. 21), Vincint announced the release of his debut EP The Feeling. Due out on Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14), the new EP will feature previously-released songs “Please Don’t Fall In Love” and “Someday,” and will include collaborations with producers like John Greenham and Alex Psaroudakis.
In a statement released with the announcement, Vincint said that he wanted The Feeling to explore every aspect of view on love. “The Feeling is my take on love,” he said. “The joy, pain, happiness and disappointments … the incredible highs and unforeseeable lows and the self discovery. These emotions threaded together sum up the way I describe it all. For me it’s just The Feeling.”
Along with announcing his new album, Vincint also announced an intimate release show to accompany the EP, taking place at Los Angeles’ The Troubador on Feb. 17. For those who can’t make it to the show, don’t worry — Vincint will be joining R&B-pop singer JP Saxe on his sold out three-show tour, with stops in Toronto, New York and Los Angeles in over the next three weeks.
