GLAAD has announced its performers for the 29th annual GLAAD Media Awards, taking place Thursday in Los Angeles. Superfruit, the side project of Pentatonix’s Scott Hoying and Mitch Grassi, will perform during the awards, and pop sensation Betty Who will take the stage at the afterparty, presented by Hyundai, following the ceremony.
Superfruit will also perform during GLAAD’s Rising Stars Luncheon on Wednesday. The program empowers and invests in the next generation of LGBTQ change makers, whose advocacy is changing their local communities and the culture at large.
GLAAD previously announced that Britney Spears would be presented with the Vanguard Award for her LGBTQ advocacy, while actor Jim Parsons would receive the Stephen F. Kolzak Award for his work telling LGBTQ stories onscreen.
The awards take place on Thursday at the Beverly Hilton.
