Season 11 of RuPaul’s Drag Race kicked off Thursday night (Feb. 28) with a bang. The brand-new crop of queens were tasked with creating new looks using the materials of the show’s illustrious alumni, along with modeling in their very own photo shoot alongside their legendary sisters.
Guest judge Miley Cyrus also made a splash after she went undercover as a crew member to spy on the queens. Naturally, after being discovered by contestant Silky Nutmeg Ganache, Miley was treated to the screams and squeals of the competitors as she offered up some advice on how to stay calm during the competition.
At the end of the night, though, someone had to leave. After a thrilling lip sync showdown against Kahanna Montrese to the Hannah Montana classic “The Best of Both Worlds,” Chicago queen Soju found herself in the unenviable position of going home first.
