BenDeLaCreme visited the Billboard office to chat with Billboard Pride ahead of tonight’s premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3, where she talked about her biggest celebrity crush, who she would love to give a drag makeover to and her dream superpower.
“I would love to give a drag makeover to [vice president] Mike Pence,” BenDeLaCreme shares. “He seems really, really pent up, and I know that that is the fantasy he’s secretly gunning for, and I think we could turn the country in a new direction.” Asked what her dream superpower would be, she says it would be “retractable body hair – like Wolverine’s claws, except I could just suck it in, and then on off days, I can just be a full-on bearded bear. Woof!”
The drag queen also divulges that she has a crush on Ant-Man actor Paul Rudd, explaining that the only reason she went on reality television was to meet him. “It didn’t work on season six [of Drag Race],” she shares, “but I know it’s gonna work this time!”
BenDeLaCreme goes on to reveal that her favorite song by a Drag Race sister is Tammie Brown’s “Walking Children in Nature,” describing the music video for the track as “like you took like 17 hallucinogens and then watched some sort of weird children’s show based on [Deee-Lite’s] ‘Groove Is in the Heart.’”
As for a film that she thinks everyone needs to see? All About Eve. “I am always shocked by young queens who have never seen it before,” she says about the 1950 Oscar-winning Bette Davis drama. “It is iconic. It teaches you how to be backstabbing, conniving – everything that you need in this industry.”

The third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on VH1.
