Which All Stars 4 queen will earn a spot next to Chad Michaels, Alaska and Trixie Mattel in the Drag Race Hall of Fame? Each week, Billboard will rank the queens based on their performances on this season, as well as seasons past, to determine who is the lead for the crown. Follow Billboard Pride on Twitter and Facebook for updated leaderboards each week.
Last week, the queens read drag icon Lady Bunny to filth for a comedic roast challenge. Manila Luzon and Monét X Change won the challenge and tied in a lip sync showdown to Aretha Franklin’s “Jump To It.” But instead of sending any of their remaining sisters packing, RuPaul revealed that the four previously booted queens — Latrice Royale, Gia Gunn, Farrah Moan and Jasmine Masters — would be return for a chance to re-enter the competition.
Tonight (Jan. 18), the remaining six All Stars duke it out in a lip sync showdown against the eliminated queens to keep their spot in the competition.
6. Valentina (last week: 5)
Valentina’s zany confessionals are some of the most entertaining moments of television we’ve seen in recent memory, but she’s quickly becoming the slowest gazelle in a very, very fast herd. Out of the remaining queens, her lip sync skills leave her the most vulnerable, but as the group’s weakest link, she’s still a strong one.
5. Naomi Smalls (last week: 4)
It’s not Naomi’s fault that she hasn’t had a win: she was looked over during the talent show, Snatch Game and the girl group challenge. Unfortunately, the judges didn’t see her magic, so last week’s face plant of a performance during the Lady Bunny roast was deadly. While the Chicago queen certainly has the chops, she’s past due for a standout moment.
4. Monét X Change (last week: 6)
Monét’s All Stars 4 report card is a bit uneven so far, but her winning roast performance was much deserved. Given that she’s made a name for herself as one of Drag Race’s most iconic lip syncers of all time, any of the four eliminees would be out of their mind to choose her as their opponent in this week’s challenge.
3. Trinity Taylor (last week: 2)
Did Trinity peak too early? It’s doubtful, but her turn poking fun at Lady Bunny was hard to watch. She’ll need a strong comeback to reclaim her front-runner status, but with two wins under her belt, she doesn’t need to sweat.
2. Monique Heart (last week: 3)
While Monique’s roast performance wasn’t at the level of Manila or Monét, she hardly deserved to be up for elimination; while Naomi, Trinity and Valentina bombed their sets, Monique’s delivered several laughs. Her track record isn’t squeaky clean, but if she continues to shine, she could be a real contender for the crown.
1. Manila Luzon (last week: 1)
It seems that Manila is hitting a hot streak at the exact perfect time in the competition, with three wins in a row. Not only that, but she is not the only queen who hasn’t been up for elimination. Could the OG-est queen take the crown? She’s certainly the one to beat.
