And BeBe Zahara Benet thought that having three queens in the bottom was the gag of the season.
[WARNING: SPOILERS ARE AHEAD FOR EPISODE 6 OF RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE ALL STARS 3.]
In a move that made whiteout a controversial subject, BenDeLaCreme — the frontrunner for the crown and the winner of this week’s challenge, along with four of the other five challenges — eliminated herself, bringing Morgan McMichaels back into the competition.
Every queen on the show, including RuPaul who temporarily seemed to lose the power of speech, was absolutely gagged — DeLa was steamrolling her way to the top 3, and now she’s completely out of the competition. Aja’s words, as always, were perfectly apropos: “What the f–k is going on?!”
But it wasn’t just the queens on stage who were shocked. Fans flooded Twitter with reactions to the episode ranging from anger to joy to pure confusion. There was so much talk on Twitter, that the hashtag #AllStars3 became a No. 1 trending topic worldwide.
Here are just a few of our favorite fan reactions to DeLa’s self-elimination:

But as in the show, it was BenDeLaCreme herself who got the last word in. The queen let everyone know who was in charge before sharing a message on Twitter about her decision.
